What is The Basement?
The Basement is a live event with a difference. Held once a month at Early Believers, the event is organized by people who love music, for people who love music. The organizers are committed to providing music lovers in Fukuoka with a place that they can go regularly and watch live performances, listen to alternative sounds, and meet people of a similar mind.
The Basement opened its doors on May 25th, 2004 and was instantly a huge success. The event continues to run on the last Tuesday of every month. The doors open at 8:30pm, with a cover charge of 1,000 yen and a minimum purchase of one drink. We also host occasional events at other venues around Kyushu.

Concert on the Rock
The Basement is pleased to be involved in this year's Concert on the Rock, a large rock festival taking place in Oita Prefecture on June 3rd and 4th. The festival features some of the best live acts that Japan has to offer, including many bands who have performed at The Basement over the years.

Saturday Pass: 2,500 yen
Sunday Pass: 1,300 yen
Weekend Pass: 3,200 yen
Camping is free to anyone with a weekend pass.
